Two days left before you bid farewell to Year 2014. By now, you're exhausted in a good way. You've been on an adventure race to discover India, lived like a global villager, learned to be at peace, challenged yourself and even changed lives.

Now is the time to rejuvenate yourself and celebrate your new year in an unimaginable, Indian way. You'll do it in one of the best places in India to celebrate and rejoice – Lucknow, a city known as the Constantinople of the East for varied things – pervasive royal touch, thriving dance and drama, a vibrant night life with a cultural touch, British Raj–era buildings, grandiose monuments, buzzing shopping markets known globally for jewellery, ornaments, and embroidery clothes and India' most popular street food options!

Of course, like everything else at 7p4c, our ways of enjoyment would also not be limited to the traditional, typical ways. More so, this chapter is not led by us. You build your own itinerary of enjoyment. So get ready to take charge and celebrate your new year with a difference!

Chapter Specifics

In this chapter, there is no preplanned schedule, for you get to design your own itinerary out of the various options offered by the navigators. The only time we jump in is on 31st Evening, where we will all join a group of locals on an unforgettable New Year extravaganza. Be ready to embrace colorful Indian dresses, an eclectic mix of Bollywood, Indian folk and western music, Sufi poetry and singing, dancing with your new Indian friends, fireworks, bonfire and a gala dinner with unheard of Indian delicacies across a majestic setting.

Besides this, your stay here in Lucknow will be filled with several activities you may choose from, each of which can provide an unforgettable experience in itself:

• Play a soccer or cricket match with local kids
• Watch an over-the-top Bollywood movie in an open-air theater with an Indian audience
• Learn to cook Indian Mughlai food from locals
• Enjoying drinks at the terrace restaurant of a Mughal fort
